Extra-ordinary people giving their support.
At the Community Foundation we call our volunteers Associate Advisors because we see them as part of our extended staff team.
Associate Advisors are local people from any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, who are happy to use their own knowledge of their local communities to enhance and improve the services we offer.
Associate Advisors come from all walks of life, some have experience in working in the local community while others are only just starting out in this area. What they all have in common is a passion for their local communities and the desire to provide support where it is needed.
Associate Advisors fulfil a variety of roles for the Community Foundation, ranging from contributing their local knowledge on decision making panels, to making visits to grant recipients as well as helping promote our funds and supporting our fundraising efforts.
