The Community Foundation is a community of donors committed to improving the quality of life and helping to build stronger communities across Greater Manchester. Since the Foundation began its work in 1989, over £12 million has been distributed to over 6,000 community groups and projects, helping thousands of local people do extraordinary things.

We manage over 50 different funds on behalf of a range of fundholders ranging from several blue chip corporate organisations to rigorously monitored statutory bodies and private trusts and foundations.

Through us, these companies and individuals can ensure their charitable investment is distributed in a transparent, effective and professional manner while they receive regular reports on how their funds are making a difference to the local communities.
